Eric Carlton

Born and raised in Okanogan, Washington.  Eric is very familiar with the local climate and how that can affect your garden, yard, and other plantings. Growing up Eric spent most of his time outdoors playing in the dirt, hiking, camping, boating and snowboarding. His previous work experience includes orchard work, lifeguarding, retail, wild land firefighting, and landscaping. His experience firefighting makes him uniquely qualified to help design and install fire-safe landscaping around your home.

Eric received his landscaping education with on-the-job training, as well as at South Seattle Community College, studying landscape design and installation. While attending college Eric also worked for Kirkland-based company Environmental Construction, inc. creating decks, fences, water features, flagstone walkways and patios, and installing sprinkler systems in some of Seattle's most prestigious neighborhoods.

Missing Eastern Washington he and his wife Laurel decided to return to their roots of Okanogan and Twisp where Eric now specializes in creating landscapes that blend in with the beautiful surroundings of the Methow and Okanogan Valleys. During his off time Eric enjoys spending time with his wife Laurel and their children Kate and James.  The Carlton family now lives in Twisp, WA.
